Independent Electricity System Operator - Smart Metering Entity Charge
The Independent Electricity System Operator filed an application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for approval of a Smart Metering Entity charge designed to recover related costs incurred from its role as the Smart Metering Entity. Whitby Hydro has enlisted the services of Paymentus Instant Payment Network to offer an additional payment option for those customers interested in using credit cards to pay their bill. Customers using this bill payment option will be charged a convenience fee for each transaction.
